"Excellent location in an interesting old building that looks out over Bayeux. Apartment is on 3rd and 4th floor and up some narrow winding steps. Has character but stairs might be problematic for some people. Parking is behind a locked gate. Access is okay and typical for France."

"No toiletries provided. Barrage of repeated emails, texts, and requests from company running the apartment. We only need to know the location of key box. Top floor kitchen has limited head room for tall people."

"BelleVue by name, Belle View by nature. Lovely spacious property with fantastic view out to the Cathedral. Bang in the centre of Bayeux, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and sights. The flat has it's own parking bay behind a locked gate. Bayeux is a great central hub to take day-trips by car to the Normandy landing sites, or to the beatiful Atlantic beaches of western Contentin. We liked PortBail sur Mer, and Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte offered a suprising historical distraction along the way."

"Nothing to dislike. A warning though if you find stairs difficult. There are 30 steps up a stone spiral stairway to the property, and a further 15 inside to the kitchen-diner. The entrance to the parking is a very tight turn. Fine for standard cars, but beware if you have a particularly large car (or if you're not a confident driver/parker)"

"WOW! What’s not to like? Ideally situated, just a short walk from shops, museums and tour pick-up points, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Secure, private parking. Stunning apartment with enchanting views out of every window. All creature comforts kindly provided by our hosts, down to small details like sugar cubes, more than enough laundry detergent, an umbrella and quilted toilet paper."

"Tolle Wohnung, zwei große Schlafzimmer, schönes Bad, Küche mit voller Ausstattung. Waschmaschine und Ständer zum Trocknen. Sehr schön eingerichtet, Treppe könnte Handläufe gebrauchen. Mitten in der Stadt gelegen, Restaurant und Bäcker und Supermarkt in direkter Nähe. Wir haben die Wohnung sehr genossen."

Property was clean and comfortable and if I had wanted to cook the kitchen had everything I might have needed. Other reviews had mentioned an issue with hot water and no blow dryer but the showers were hot and there was a blow dryer in the bathroom."

"Parking was available at the location but make sure you have a small car if you intend to park at the property. The entrance/exit is very narrow and can be challenging . The only improvement I would suggest would be to have more seating in the living room. There is only comfortable seating for 2."
